Congratulations to Jonathan Casillas as he earned his first victory as a New England Patriot during week 9 of the NFL regular season. Casillas, who started this season on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers,  was dealt right before the NFL trade deadline to the New England Patriots for a 2015 5th and 6th round draft pick.

In his sixth NFL season, Casillas is expected to play a big role on special teams, as he showed last Sunday against the Denver Broncos, while also adding depth to the linebacker position. According to NESN, Casillas will also be featured in the Patriots’ nickel and dime packages as he is a specialist when it comes to dropping back in coverage.
